Chirping insects, squawking flamingos, and snorting wildebeest. Nightsounds of the Serengeti infiltrate my tent. It’s our last night in camp on the shore of Lake Ndutu and I can’t sleep. Chaos has earned a bad reputation. Like many people, I associate it with stress, confusion, and seemingly random events. Lately, though, I’ve paused to celebrate how beauty and new forms of order can also rise within chaos.
